I have been training at the York Academy of Martial Arts for over 15 years! The friendly atmosphere, the extraordinary people, and the amazing training have made me stick with it and want to continue to learn and grow. I've been able to stay fit and healthy, learn how to defend myself, and grow in confidence and character. The York AMA has benefitted my life is so many ways and I am forever grateful. I completely recommend this school to anyone who is yearning for a life changing experience!

My daughter joined ACMA when she turned 6. Today she is 11 and is a brown belt. The reason I put her in karate at the time was because she was underweight and on the weaker side. I noticed a huge difference in one year. She gained weight, strength and endurance. Today, she is very fit and much healthier as a direct result of her training. It has also built her confidence and self esteem. I would highly recommend All Canadian Martial Arts to anyone at any age!!!

Our 5 year old attends twice weekly. He loves attending. We also sign him up for camps which run in a fun, safe organize manner. Friendly teaching skills allowing children to feel encouraged and more importantly having fun!

My experience with Rising Sun Oakville has been fantastic. As a single working parent (the weeks I have my kids), I needed a reliable and flexible solution for after school care, and somewhere where my kids were not just sitting around. My daughter had seen the Rising Sun bus and had heard about the program from a friend, so we checked them out and ended up enrolling the kids in the program. Both kids enjoy the program and are learning and progressing. I highly recommend the facility and staff.

SO happy to write this review for one particular student. Sophia or Sofia (sorry spelling) is just amazing. My highlights, colour, cut was just as I asked. She really asked me the right questions to pin point the look I wanted before she started. Treated me like she knew me a million years, made me feel at ease and positive that my visit to the salon would be great. It's not often you find a student with such talent already. I hope she tells me where she will be working after her schooling...this is one girl I'll follow no matter where she goes, no matter the price. She totally gets A+++.
