The food is great, no doubt about that, but I found the staff to be extremely rude which is why I will never go back. I agree with the opinion that they treat certain people like their regulars better than others, very noticeable. Maybe they don't feel like they need my business. I think that they should put the same effort into their customer service skills as they do their food. It's unfortunate that I won't return because I do enjoy the pizza puff's and lasagna...but not worth the poor customer service experience.

Amazing atmosphere, friendly service, overall environment is a winner. Our meals were delicious and the bread was fantastic. But I must say for such a great Italian restaurant, they have THE WORST salad I've ever had. Caesar salad with no bacon, no croutons, nothing but iceberg lettuce? House salad with no tomatoes, no veggies, just iceberg lettuce? Don't get me wrong, this is the best Italian restaurant in KW, but for the love of God, serve a proper salad, it is almost a joke compared to the quality and care that is put into the rest of the food. Honestly, THE WORST salad ever. But I'll still go back, food is amazing!

Excellent service, Food was amazing. No wonder I've heard so many great things about this restaurant. The atmosphere is very warm and friendly! Server was very fast and efficient! Great service!

Disappointed. Having gone before and been pleased...

Disappointed. Having gone before and been pleased with my meal, this visit didn't live up to my expectations. While there was nothing particularly unsavory about any of the food, the lack of attention to detail contrasts sharply with the price of the food. The Caesar dressing was the only appealing feature of the dish. The romaine was chopped as opposed to torn, the chicken (a $4.50 addition) was dry, flavourless and was sprinkled on the salad much like one would do with crumbled bacon or rustic croutons, both of which were absent. The dressing was flavourful though sloppily applied with blobs of it sticking to pieces of lettuce. I was able to sop it up with some bread which was one nice aspect. Neither fresh grated parmesan or pepper were offered. The olive bruschetta was lovely as was the spaghetti dish--the pasta was perfectly cooked. The service was friendly and efficient. There was no long wait, the food was delivered quickly and piping hot. In light of the price, I would gladly sacrifice some expediency of service for greater care and attention to detail in the preparation. And considering how difficult it can be to get table there, it is unlikely we'll ever go back.

Great atmosphere - very small, but not in a bad...

Great atmosphere - very small, but not in a bad way. Our waiter was great, food was spectacular. Cost was very reasonable - ~$160 for 4, including wine and 3-4 cocktails. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it, and would happily go back again. The place was packed when we got there, so I'd suggest reservations.
