Somethings missing

There are just too many items that are left off the lunch menu. If you favorites include Dragon/Spider rolls and eel pizza like myself, you won't find this on the AYCE lunch menu. I definately reccomend the steak and spring onion appetizer. its delicious.

My Favourite

I'm not the most experienced customer when it comes to sushi but Sapporo is definitely the best sushi Ive had in Hamilton. It has the best service i have ever had in a restaurant to date. The waiters were very friendly to my table. Once we were sat down we were instantly pored drinks and asked what we would like to order . It only took maybe 3 minutes to get our first dish and they would give us our next dish immediately after we finished the first. They even have waiters that all their job is to pick up plates once you have cleaned them off. VERY EFFICIENT. The waiters gave us ample time to order many more items . You actually tell the waiter what you would like , much better than most places where they give you a piece of paper to write your order . Also when they give you your dish they tell you exactly what is on it instead of a random waiter placing it on your table and then leaving. The food was fantastic everything was very fresh and delicious.

It really BUGGED Me

I have been to Sapporo several times in the 4 years I have been in Canada but I must say I will never go there again. We had been there about 30 mins and I ask for some more ginger and wasabi. The server brought out a new dish and a little friend from the kitchen. I went to use wasabi and a cockroach crawled off the dish. I didn't scream or yell. I quietly got the servers attention and she came over and she used my napkin to kill the bug and was very rude about it. Another server came and offered us a free round of drink of our choice but we decline as we thought it was time to go. We were given a 10% discount and sent on our way

I've been to this restaurant many times and from my experience, I can say that when you order a lot, they cut your order where ever they can. On multiple occasions, I was brought the wrong order of soup. Service needs a bit of an improvement because I had to wait approximately 15 minutes for them to refill my tea cup. Otherwise, the sushi is delicious and the portions are fair.

I love this place because of its food!!! The really bad thing about this restaurant is that the price is way, way to expensive. It is $21 by itself per adult!!! I think thats way to much for sushi.
