We are consistent patrons of Pepperwood Bistro...

We are consistent patrons of Pepperwood Bistro. We truly enjoy a meal on the patio during this lovely time of year. On June 12, 2007, we were in for an early dinner on the patio. We had the pleasure of being served by Mark. Mark was busy as he was working six tables, but he was effective and efficient. His gratuity recognized his high level of service. Please pass along our continued gratitude to him and tell him to keep it up. Conversely, today we had an hour to spend before an appointment. We decided to stop off at Pepperwood to again enjoy the patio with a couple of Framboise and an appetizer to share. We sat down at 2:05 pm and left at 2:23 pm, having not been served, spoken to or event slightly recognized. Three servers were working on the patio taking care of the six tables being used. It was not busy and they were not being over worked. At one point or another, they all passed directly past us without even a glance in our direction. All that would have placated us would have been, “I’ll be right with you;” or “Can I get you a drink while you are perusing the menu?” Although, that would assume that someone dropped off a menu first. Whereas Mark was everything a professional server should be, the three today combined were very disappointing to say the least. Please train your staff to assume that every customer is a potentially highly placed restaurant reviewer or critic and then they may be successful. Yours truly, Jay & Karen Turner

I have now been to Pepperwood 3 times and each visit was great! I find Pepperwood to be a wonderful restaurant; great food, atmosphere and service. I will definitely be returning!
