If you have a gluten allergy, the staff will do their best to suggest and accommodate you with menu items that are fresh and very satisfying. This is the first restaurant I have ever been to that makes gluten free soya sauce available to their diners upon request, and I have been to a lot of Japanese Chinese fusion restaurants.
