Country Gourmet Café

Their curried cauliflower soup was amazing...and so were the date squares. Would definitely come back here when in the area...but be prepared to wait...busy place at lunch time.

My husband and I were in the area for 4 days. We had the good fortune of walking by this little cafe when we were getting familiar with Parry Sound. We had great coffees and pastries. We ended up having breakfast there since our Inn rolled up the restaurant part by 9 am every day and we were never ready on time to take advantage. We were not disappointed. A great place to eat and lots of interesting art work on the walls.

after stopping in for a quick lunch, we couldn't help but go back every day of our vacation to see what goodies they had baked fresh that morning :) ...everything is fresh and delicious.. The price was fair, and the quality, superior....I would recommend the croissant bread pudding (the pastry melts in your mouth) and the butter tarts(obviously made with real butter and not margarine) If in the area, you should go treat your tastebuds!
