Lovely little cafe

I have been to Oz many times since it opened and I am never disappointed! The lychee martinis are what brings me in, but the food is really delicious as well. The cheese plate is great for snacks...often I go with a group of people and we just order a bunch of plates to share (edamame another one of our favourites). The owner (Oz) is so sweet and the atmosphere is cozy and chic. Definitely one of my preferred places on Elgin!

My friend took me here, (6:30-10:30) and I was very impressed. Decor was pleasant, worked well for the space, the art was interesting and worked (Steam-punk influenced & for sale) The server was fantastic, friendly, courteous and understanding. Martini are fantastic, and the food was amazing, highly recommend the BC Salad (7$), we both had the tuna special (23$) which just melted in your mouth.

An instant classic

I love Oz. The menu is inventive and focuses on fresh ingredients. The cocktail menu is creative and offers many delicious drinks. The service is sometimes slow but it's understandable - the place is always packed. I highly recommend starting off an evening with friends here for bite to eat and a martini.

Of course, it was the eleventh hour when I called and tried to make an evening reservation on Valentine’s Day. And, of course, like everyone else they were completely booked but they did call me back and I was so happy that they could squeeze us in. We enjoyed the best meal we could have hoped for. The house red (forget the varietal) was so perfectly pared with the shrimp appetizer, Gamberi Di Amaretto. And the chardonnay was lovely with the escargots. Our entrees were equally delicious and in spite of the fact that it was a very busy evening for Napoli’s, the food arrived at our table fresh and hot and the service was perfect. Water glasses were always topped up and we were never left unattended for long. The servers were very friendly and approachable and it all made for a fantastic dining experience. We also didn’t feel over-crowded in this ‘full-to-capacity’ restaurant. Our table provided plenty of elbow room and the table conversation was easy to hear in spite of people. We were very comfortable and happy to be enjoying the wonderful atmosphere. We can’t wait to have dinner at Napoli’s again. Lire plus
