Been coming here for years. I dont know who wrote that last review but they must have a screw loose. What would you expect if you tried to get a table for 7 people on a saturday nite without a reservation when the place is lined up. We had a great time, the food was good and the service was adequate considering how busy the place was. The lineup indicated they are doing something right. I have been a customer of King Henry's for the last 6 years and I have loved every visit. The food is amazing and they have found gems to work in their kitchen. Everything from the featured appetizers to the homemade desserts have been a treat to look forward to. My favourite thing to order are the curry fries and the Prime rib dinner on Friday and Saturday night is amazing, but get there early because they can sell out. The prices of the food and drinks are low compared to their high quality. The staff is always welcoming and friendly and treat their regulars like part of the family. Tonight’s dinner was amazing! Zaina (sorry if spelled wrong) was an amazing friendly, professional and down to earth server. Truly a pleasant night! The atmosphere on the patio was great! Jenna, our server, made the experience so enjoyable! We had a retirement dinner last night. We were provided with a wonderful description of the menu. A lot of laughs. Jenna has a level 3 Sommelier course, if you are interested in Wine. She’s Greek, so loves lamb! But watch out, she’s pretty witty having a Bachelor degree Psychology. If you are looking for a spot to hang with your friends and watch the game then you definitely need to hit up Whitby St.Louis. They pride themselves on their staff as well as ensuring that any major game that is playing is on every TV. This means hockey, baseball, football, UFC, golf- you name it they have it. Oh and the wings, fries and garlic dip is delicious. My personal favorite is the Hot n Honey wing sauce or the Suicide wing sauce. I would suggest going on Tuesday for wing night, or on Thurs or Fri which is their busiest nights. After hearing it about from a coworker I decided to visit the Sizzler myself since I work on Woodbine. Although I passed the place a couple of times because I thought'd it be more "eye catching", it looked like any typical family/homey environment in a way. I ended up ordering breakfast to go. The service itself was great because the people there were very friendly and polite. My kind of style! =]. And when I tasted the food, it was awesome! The food itself was very good. They gave great portions and it wasn't greasy at all which made it so great! Normally I dislike eating breakfast outside because of the amount of oil they used but this place served it really good. Hey, so its your standard greasy spoon. Quick service with a open kitchen so you can see whats going on. I work about two blocks away so I eat there probably 2 times weekly on average. I have never been let down. 5.95 for a lunch special that is more than I can eat, although Im sure that some ppl would have little problem ingesting the mountain of food.
