We weren't sure where to have dinner and decided to try this place. It was definitely worth it! When we walked in, we were greeted right away, in Italian and English, which I thought was a nice touch. There was a piano player in the foyer playing nice tunes, I liked that. The server came over right away, very courteous and kind. We were given bread with oil and vinegar to dip, it tasted delicious! Definitely authentically Italian! We then ordered fried calamari to start, definitely a good choice! Nice and crispy! Our pasta came soon after. It was cooked to perfection! The sauce was superb and the pasta's flavours all blended together nicely. I was thoroughly impressed with this restaurant and would definitely visit again. The only thing that wasn't too nice was the price, over $80 for two people, but it was well-worth it. Lire plus

Fantastic Italian restaurant! The service was excellent and the food matched the service. We had 4 of us and we all really enjoyed our meals. So impressed by both food and service. Complimentary bruschetta was fresh bright well balanced and incredibly yummy. The Alfredo was solid traditional Italian with a beautiful unique undertone I couldn't identify but loved. We go to Gamberoni a few times a year and it's always an amazing experience. Minestrone is the best in town and the seafood platter for two is just perfect - two kinds of fish, shrimp cooked two ways and the best calamari I've ever had. If you want something really special after dessert, ask Mike (the owner) for "his" coffee - it's espresso with some alcohol in it, not sure what kind, but just the perfect end for a perfect night out.
